Project Manager
Job Description
Provide overall project management for pre-construction activities and work with the Site Superintendent to ensure successful project completion. As a Project Manager, you are the bridge between the field and the client so client satisfaction must be maintained. Must be able to make decisions and recommendations to greatly impact corporate relationship with client and profitability which is managed.
Details
- Develop and strengthen client relationship as the bridge between field and client
- Understand budgeting / bidding on projects
- Develop initial project schedule for estimating and bidding purpose
- Manage 2-3 Site Superintendents on 2-3 projects
- Review project costs with Site Superintendent to ensure project is kept within budget
- Demand/influence project safety
- Maintain subcontractor relationships and help resolve conflicts
- Coordinate with office/field
Requirements
- Degree NOT required
- Minimum (10) years of construction experience
- Minimum (5) years of Project Manager experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills
