Site Superintendent
Job Description
Provide overall on site supervision and technical management on construction project site of ALL subcontractors involved in project. As the Site Superintendent, your job is to coordinate amongst the subcontractors you are given from start to finish. Your job is to maintain schedule, maintain cleanliness, expose all unknown variables and most importantly ensure client satisfaction is maintained. This position requires a high level of control in planning and coordinating field activities.
Details
- Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, architectural/engineering representatives and other contractors
- Administering on site safety programs established by company
- Build and maintain project schedules
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and ensure overall contractual obligations are met
- Track down additional pricing related change orders and submit them to your office for approval
- Capable of reading construction drawings, inside and out
- Implement and maintain tight quality control issues
- Review/approve project submittals for compliance with construction documents
Requirements
- Degree NOT required
- Minimum (10) years of construction experience
- Minimum (5) years of Site Superintendent/Project Manager experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills
